This is the time where the IIMA students are all geared up and serious to lock in their future. Like in all colleges campus recruitments are the main thing and this is the business area of the course. Like in the Norwalk campus, companies like IBM come with good pay packages for fresh graduates, in the IIMs there are companies like Infosys , Wipro and other major IT and management companies.
These are basically looking to garner the best talented people available in their stream of business. Pay packages have increased many a times in the past and now with some students getting even up to 1 crore a year package there are many whose sole focus remains to do an MBA.
The highest international acceptances from companies last year ranged from about $225,000 to $300,000 dollars and the highest domestic packages ranged from about Rs 60 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
The IIM Ahmedabad received a total record number of 79 placement offers from all the major corporates.
