Pulses price down
After enjoying a big bull run in these pulse prices like Peas, Lentils and other pulses these prices are now looking towards going down, atleast in the short run. Lot of big corporates have been caught on the wrong foot, and you can be sure of low employee award evenings this year!
The tur prices in maharashtra were between Rs. 26,000 per ton and which have come down quite a bit. Urid prices had reached a high of USD 800 per ton, and have now crashed to nearly USD 500.
Peas have not corrected as much as the other crops. Green peas have risen from USD 270 to around USD 550 this year, while yellow peas have also almost doubled in the calender year.
